Proprietor and Coach

Favourite Horse: Sunny

Laura has been riding at EEC for over 30 years. It was always her dream to one day live at Villa Marie and run it as a riding school. In 2016 Laura, with her husband Ian, bought the business and together they have been building up the riding school which now has over 25 horses. She is a BHS Stage 3 Accredited Professional Coach and also has her Level 2 UK Coaching Certificate as well as being a Pony Club Coach. She loves taking hacks out over the hills as well as seeing development of both horse and rider within lessons.

Laura holds up to date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarting certificates and has completed personal development courses in Equine Behaviour, Autism in Sport and Physical Activity and Neuro Linguistic Progamming.

Coach

Favourite Horse: Bella

Sally has over 20 years teaching experience teaching all over the UK. She is a British Horse Society Stage 3 Accredited Professional Coach and also a Pony Club Coach.

Sally holds up to date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.

Coach/Yard Staff

Favourite Horse: Fizz

Hannah began riding at EEC at 8 years old. She then took on a part time job and bought her horse Fizz. Over the years Hannah has produced Fizz into the incredible horse she is today. Fizz is on working livery at the centre and has taught many of our clients to ride.

Over the years Hannah has worked with horses in many different places including Spain and France.

Hannah is a BHS Stage 3 Accredited Professional Coach. She hold up to date DBS, Safguarding and First Aid Certificates. Hannsh is also a Pony Club Coach.

Morning Yard Staff

Favourite Horse: Parsley ,Billy, Layla + Jazz

Tina holds BHS stage 1 Care and Ride. She has been at EEC for 30 years! seeing lots of changes over the years. She is always working hard and is cat mum to our resident mouse catchers Gizmo and Fizzmo (pictured above)

Favourite horses: Indie and Opal

Angelica is currently studying Equine management and working towards her BHS stages.

Saturday Yard Staff

Favourite Horse: BB, Bobby

Megan holds her BHS Stage 1 and Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management.

Ian holds up to date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarting certificates. Ian alongside Onyx takes on the role of security. He also works in an administrative capacity within the business but can sometimes be spotted being roped into the hands on side of things.

Muddy Puddle Jumper

Favourite pony: Sally

Róisín enjoys riding her Shetland pony Sally both in the arena and out hacking. She makes sure the yard is tidy, but spends the majority of her time jumping in muddy puddles. Outside of the yard she enjoys swimming, ballet, gymnastics, eating chocolate and Paw Patrol.

Security Guard

Onyx is always happy to see you and usually has a cone, Leadrope or bucket on him. You may sometimes spot him on his daily patrols round the property
